2012-09-14 [Evolution X]: dude... it wouldn't act like that. He transfers energy into it. It would not get near light speed at all. It would just start to lose momentum.

Im a physics major i understand how momentum works, if it started of with an initial acceleration from Anthony then yes it would, however unless i misunderstood his power it would continually gain velocity due to a constant acceleration placed on it by Anthony's power. When his power was explained it would imply that he could apply acceleration which would be assumed to stay constant unless it where refraised to say that it had an initial acceleration until it met his maximum velocity the it would continue at that speed or slow down due to the loss of momentum. So his power is the initial transfer of kinetic energy so that it accelerates until it reaches the maximum velocity allowed by its internal energy is that correct? Not placing an accelerated force?

2012-09-14 [Evolution X]: You misunderstood Anthony's power. He places kinetic energy inside of the object to propel it forward. It does not rely on the internal energy of the item, but on the energy of Anthony himself. He places a certain amount of energy in, the item moves in the direction of aiming for that amount of energy. In a continuous loop all that would do is have very quick loop, then lose momentum slightly and stick into the wall.

Anthony's powers are a lot like Devin's powers. Not quiet as clearly defined, but similar.

2012-09-14 [Flisky]: My old character here, Devin. His power description was as follows:

Devin was born with the ability to increase or decrease the kinetic power put out by his body. He can use this to punch through solid objects, break things, leap tall buildings in a single bound. He can also lighten his touch enough to pet a butterfly without harming it or rub a bubble without popping it. The most pressure he can exert is around 5000 PSI, though making it that far is enough to injure himself. Usually he won't go above 2000 PSI unless forced to.

He can 'channel' the energy into an object if he is in direct contact with that object. Ex: If he throws a baseball with as much force as he can exert, the energy can be put into the ball, causing it to keep moving with the same force until it hits something and transfers the energy again (which will die out) or gradually loses the energy. Devin can also decrease the amount of kinetic thrust an object (or person) has, but only while in direct contact with them. Ex: If he touches an operating jackhammer, he can cause it to not do any damage to the surroundings, however if, say, an object hits him, he can only dampen the kinetic output after it hits him.

2012-09-15 [Evolution X]: well, it just... wouldn't act like that. The fork wouldn't just accelerate until it almost hit light speed and possibly broke earth's gravitational pull. He only shot it forward a little bit. it would eventually just dip under the earth's gravitational pull and dig into the wall.
